Ian Sause has resided in Wilmington since 1977. Ian grew up on and around Wrightsville Beach and the Greenville sound area. After earning a B.S. in Business from UNCW, he worked in sales management for an Architectural Products firm. Always being intrigued with the installation and construction of the products he sold, Ian chose to move into construction and eventually found a niche in residential remodeling and repairs. After ten years in construction and remodeling, Ian discovered a natural synergy between his thorough understanding of construction methods and the ability to provide the highest level of customer service to homeowners/clients. With nearly forty years in Wilmington, a career in real estate sales was inevitable. As either a listing agent or buyer’s agent, Ian is adept at identifying quality in home construction as well as inherent value in the homes he represents. Whether it be an eco-friendly bungalow or a nineteenth-century Tudor, Ian has always been drawn to quality homes and unique craftsmanship.
Ian chose to merge the best of both worlds in construction and real estate at Masonboro Realty. Much like his “Quality over Quantity” philosophy in his construction career, he found Masonboro Realty to be a smaller firm with an impeccable reputation and an unsurpassed level of integrity and customer service. Ian found that principal, Lori Speight possessed the same relationships with her clients that he had developed with his friends/clients over the years.
